Straight out from Margarita Villa lies the Meso-American Barrier Reef – The second largest reef in the world (900 kilometers long). The snorkeling in Soliman Bay is top-notch for seeing the colorful reef fish, beautiful coral heads and a multitude of sea creatures in all shapes and sizes from anemones to stingrays. A pair of Queen Angelfish live directly out from the shores of Margarita Villa as well as Sea Urchins, Blue Tang, Rock Beauty, a variety of colorful Wrasse, Spotted Drum and more. Snorkel with the Trumpet Fish along the surface or enjoy the sound of crashing waves breaking over the reef.
