North of Soliman Bay is the local ecological reserve and natural water park, Xel Ha.  This natural setting offers snorkeling, cenote adventures, rope climbing, zip lines, tubing through the crystal clear mangroves or floating on a lazy river in paradise.  There are other activities including the popular buffet, swimming with the dolphins, swimming with the manatees, riding bicycles or simply walking through the mysterious trails and enjoying the natural beauty of flora and fauna.  See Iguanas, Geckos, Parrots, Macaws, Pelicans and Ducks on land or snorkel with Tangs, Parrotfish, Tuna, Grouper, Stingrays, Sea Stars, Sea Bass and dozens of other colorful reef fish.

This natural park is ideal for a spring break adventure, corporate getaway, family vacation, family reunion, wedding party or group from ages 2 to 100! There is something for everyone here, including those with limited mobility. Winding paved paths allow access to the park with many wheelchair accessible adventures. Xel Ha does have a wheelchair rental service and a hydraulic chair for people with disabilities wishing to go into the river.
